As part of Fuse being removed from Creative Cloud, the direct upload from Fuse to Mixamo will no longer function as of September 28th, 2020. You can continue to use Mixamo for Fuse characters via a manual export and upload process:
- Export your character to .obj format
- Combine the .obj, .mtl, and textures into a .zip file
- Upload the .zip file directly on Mixamo.com
Uploading manually will allow you to continue to use the Mixamo auto-rigging services for your characters, but will not provide facial blendshape support or any unique Fuse rigging features

Adobe is powering the next generation of 3D and AR creatives with innovative new tools like Adobe Dimension, Adobe Aero, the Substance suite of products, as well as other 3D services. Focusing on these initiatives requires the full commitment of resources. And as a result, we’ve stopped the future development of Adobe Fuse (Beta), a 3D character creation software.
Fuse has been removed from Creative Cloud and is no longer available for download. We have tried to keep Fuse available as long as possible, but, unfortunately, it does not work with the newest Mac OS, Catalina (10.15), due to incompatible technology components.
3D characters remain an important aspect of many projects, and we plan to still have robust character workflows in the future. In conjunction, last year we refreshed Mixamo.com, our 3D character rigging, and animation web service. You’ll be able to find dozens of new ready-to-use 3D characters and a refreshed UI.
Adobe remains committed to 3D & AR initiatives, and we’re excited to continue this journey into the new generation of design.

No, the Adobe Fuse application will continue to open on your computer if you’ve already downloaded it. Fuse is a 32-bit application and is not supported on Mac 10.15.0 or later.
