Adobe Creative Suite (CS) is a now-discontinued collection of graphic design, video editing, and web development applications made by Adobe Systems. The collection consists of Adobe's applications (e.g., Photoshop, Acrobat, InDesign), that are based on various technologies (e.g., PostScript, PDF, Flash). Its development stopped on 7 May 2013 to focus more on Creative Cloud, that was a separate product at the time.

Creative Suite 1
CS1 was released in September 2003.
Creative Suite 2
CS2 was released in April 2005. It was later re-released as a free download on 7 January 2013.
Creative Suite 3
Adobe Creative Suite 5 Free
CS3 was announed on 27 March 2007. It introduced universal binaries for all major programs for Mac, as well as including all of the core applications of Macromedia Studio and Production Studio.
Creative Suite 4
CS4 was announced on 23 September 2008 and officially released on 15 October 2008. All applications in CS4 featured the same UI, with a new tabbed interface for working with concurrently running CS4 programs where multiple documents can be opened inside multiple tabs contained in a single window.

Creative Suite 5.5
Following the release of CS5, Adobe changed its release strategy to an every other year release of major number installments. CS5.5 was presented on 21 April 2011, as an in-between program until CS6. Adobe Premiere CS5.5 abd Adobe After Effects CS5.5 were 64-bit only and required Windows Vista 64-bit or later.
Creative Suite 6
Adobe released a freely available beta version of Photoshop CS6 on 21 March 2012. The final version of CS6 followed on 23 April 2012, and first shipped on 7 May.
